Growing up I struggled to understand how a good God could let my pastor father die of cancer when I was only 7.

As a teenager I was insecure, and fearful, filled with tormenting darkness. But then I came to know Jesus in a deeply personal way and He exchanged my insecurity for His strength and my darkness for His light.
