Alterations are by appointment only. I book in advance and my schedule fills quickly. Please plan accordingly.

Be prepared for your appointment with the shoes and undergarments you plan to wear for the event.

Bridal Alterations

Alterations for bridal work are not itemized. The bridal alteration typically consist of a bustle, shortening the gown, strap adjustments, bust and hip alterations. The average bridal ticket runs between $450 to $700.

Please note: This is not a complete list of alterations options and pricing. Wedding dress alterations can be extensive depending on lace, and beading. The purpose of this list is not to be used as a quote, but to give an overview of approximate cost for your alteration.

$100 BRIDAL RUSH FEES apply to any gown that comes less than 8 weeks before the wedding. $175 RUSH FEE for less than 5 weeks. $250 RUSH FEE for 3 weeks or less.

Bridesmaid and Prom Alterations

Shortening gowns (prom, bridesmaid) Typically $85 for the standard gown with several layers. The cost is subject to increase for added layers, ruffles, or train.
Shorten straps on a gown: $30 and up
Bust alterations for bridesmaid and prom gowns $35 and up

Location

I offer two options for fittings.

At my home studio in Rhinebeck
Private in home fittings. In the convenience of your own home I travel to you for fittings within 25 miles of Rhinebeck. This is ideal for bridal parties, giving you the opportunity to have the entire wedding party fitted at the same time.
