Hi I’m Naomi Fata
Thank you for stopping by. In 2007 I opened Love Stitches by Naomi. At the time I was a newlywed and worked full-time in retail management. I knew that I wanted to be a stay-at-home mom when we had children so with much encouragement from my husband and my dad, I turned my sewing hobby into a business.
By 2012 my business had grown enough for me to quit my day job, by then I had two small children. Over the years I gradually transitioned the business to focus on bridal and formal wear. I also make custom slipcovers and occasionally teach classes.
In addition to the sewing business, I am a homeschool mom of three, and an award-winning author. My writing focuses on my extensive experience in sewing, drawing a parallel to God, our Creator, as He intricately weaves and stitches our lives together, piece by piece. My latest work is a 13-week devotional titled “Stitching Your Story Piece by Peace,” where I inspire readers to discover the peace that can only be found in Christ.
I am also a long-time contributor to the ‘God’s Corner’ section of the Hudson River View. When not writing, sewing, and homeschooling you can find me drinking coffee with my husband, out for a run, or reading a good book.
