YKK manufactures the best replacement zippers that I have ever used. Early on in my professional sewing career, I bought Coats and Clark replacement zippers from JoAnn Fabrics. Frequently clients would return with the item the following season saying the zipper had broken again. This was back in 2008-2010 period, so I can’t vouch for how Coats and Clark zippers are at this time. But I’ve come to love YKK zippers and have never had an issue with them.
